----- A BRIEF HISTORY-----

Hit Products is a UK consumer products brand developing unique and innovative problem-solving accessories within the home and giftware categories. 

The company was established by Barry Freeder in 2015 as a platform to launch his flagship invention, 'CouchCoaster'. Like many great ideas, the concept was born out of a real problem Barry had experienced himself - to create a safe and convenient resting place for a drink on a sofa, couch or armchair.

Barry set out to design a solution that would satisfy consumers all over the world, and launched CouchCoaster at a UK trade show in 2016. He soon began fulfiling orders to clients spanning North America to the Far East and within two years, CouchCoaster had become the #1 selling coaster on Amazon USA.   

Following the success of CouchCoaster, Hit Products launched ‘TableCoaster’ in 2018 to broaden the reach of its anti-spill cup holder range. Designed to prevent spilt drinks around the home, office or outdoors, TableCoaster holds the (unofficial!) title of having saved more spilt cups of coffee from our feline friends than any other drinkware accessory!

In 2020, Hit Products side-stepped into the world of mobile phone accessories with 'phonetag' after spotting a gap in the market to create a more versatile mobile phone holder-come-stand. phonetag prides itself on being the world’s only ring holder to offer both portrait and landscape, hands-free viewing of your mobile device.

We're inspired by the subtle and sometimes unconscious ways consumers interact with 'everyday' products and their wider environment, often resulting in suboptimal user experiences. We aim to solve those shortcomings by launching practical product solutions which will surprise and delight, blending the perfect combination of form and function along the way.
